CSI Jorja Fox

Despite surviving a near death (and deathly boring) season premiere on CSI Jorja Fox who plays Sara Sidle will not be returning next season or even finishing out this current season. Fox explains her reasons for leaving:

“There are all these things I want to do. Some are personal. Some are professional. And I really need to do some of them before I get too old,” explains Fox. “If I thought the show were on its last legs, I would have tried harder to stay the course. But I feel like its going to be around for a while, so if I don’t want some of those dreams to pass me by, I have to get off the ride for a while.”

Whatever. This lady is crazy. Other than playing Guy Pierce’s dead/not dead wife in Memento I can’t think of anything else I’ve ever seen her do. She should have been doing back flips that CBS even invited her back following her brief firing the other year over contract disputes. Ah well, the Jimmy Fallon approach to a career is always a great “I never want to work again” option.

Thank God this woman is leaving! From the get-go she annoyed me. She’s unattractive for one. She played her character with as much personality as one of the corpses at a CSI crime scene. Let’s face it. The woman could not act and if she pops up on another show I’ll be surprised not to mention disappointed.

Agreed on all counts. Sidle was my least favorite character on the series. It’ll be nice to let Grissom get back to focusing on the crime/mystery aspect.

I agree Matt. I think Grissom should try to hook up with the Maddam, he seemed intrigued by her and she even came back a couple more times for guest apperances! I think there is chemistry there!

Good call on the Madam! The chemistry was totally there between those two while seemingly more forced between him and Sara. With Sara out of the way I hope the writers take advantage of the chance to bring the dark & mysterious lady back.

Me too me too!! Waving my arms like a maniac. I LOVE Grissom and the Madam She smart, sexy and smoldering with her looks at Grissom. She’s the type of woman who would challenge him. He needs to simmer and she’s just the kind of lady to turn up the heat!

Hey guys, I agree with the commenmts about Grissom and the other person, but I had no idea that he was involved with Sara. When did this happen?

  8. Matt

It was going on for several seasons, just not the whole series.

Disagree wae u,z guys on the sara suks thing.Sara was the only 1 out the characters that took her job more emotional.Even thou Grisson told her off at times about this, laying out that once in this kinda job u dont hav time 4 any feelings 2wards the vitims. But stil Sara had a huge hart!!.
The best 1 i saw concerning jorja,s character Sara ,was the case Grissom had wen a girl was killed, and was a deadringer 4 Sara.I luvd Sara and I,m going 2 mis her.

I love the lines sara wrote in the letter for Grissom before she left. Madam is sexy and appealing. However, Sara is more human and true in daily life. Maybe Sara is not as pretty. She is sexy in her own way and her own stlye.I love the role and wish her all the good luck for her pursuit of her dream, whatever it is.
