Last week was Meet the Parents week on The Bachelor. Brad visited each of the remaining four girls hometowns and got to meet their families. While I really enjoyed the show, I was shocked by the conclusion. The visit with Bettina’s family was a disaster. They don’t like Brad. They don’t like his lifestyle or his means of making a living. They hate the fact that he has not finished college. Oh, and lets not forget that they absolutely loved Bettina’s ex-husband. The best part was at the end of the visit Bettina was defending them and to some extent taking their side. After all that, Brad didn’t send her packing. Instead he sent Sheena home. Now granted her mom was a bit of a space-cadet with her astrological predictions but I would take her as a mother-in-law any day over in-laws who out and out hated me. If Brad does end up with Bettina, it won’t last long. Her family will make the two of them miserable. Bettina will always be in the middle and she will end up pressuring him to go back to school, give up his business, etc.

Tonight, Brad takes the three final girls, DeAnna, Bettina, and Jenni on vacation to Cabo for some fun in the sun! DeAnna tells Brad she’s falling for him but Jenni has trouble telling him how she feels. This is great for DeAnna but trouble for Jenni because Brad really likes the girls to open up to him and tell him how the honestly feel. Bettina spends her alone time with Brad doing damage control. I hope she goes home tonight. DeAnna and Jenni both seem to have real feelings for him, he fit in very well with both of their families, and he obviously likes both of them. While I think Jenni is a better match for him, her dance career may be the one stumbling block for her.

If they follow the usual Bachelor schedule, one girl will go home tonight. The other two will get to see Brad’s hometown and meet his family. He will then get to go on a one-on-one trip with each of the girls before finally revealing who he wants to propose to.
