Last night was pretty rough on our dancers. The dancers each performed two routines and everyone had at least one lack luster performance. Mal & Maks did pull the perfect thirty again last night on their second performance. So it was no surprise tonight when they received the Judges Encore Performance. At the end of last night’s show a mere 4 points separated the first couple from the last. As a result tonight’s big loser was all the result of the audience votes. Here’s how the Judges rated the couples last night:

For the second time this season one of the stars lost a parent. Earlier this season Jane’s mom had passed away in the UK. After dedicating her first performance last night to her mom and dad, Marie Osmond received the news this morning that her father had passed away. Marie was not on the show tonight. At the top of the show they let Marie & Jonathon now that they were safe.

Going Home This Week: Jane & Tony

I can’t say that I’m surprised. Frankly, they should have gone home last week. Sabrina & Mark should still be here. (Yeh, I’m still a little bitter about that). Jane had a good run but, lets be honest she really couldn’t keep up with the younger stars. Jane was elegance personified, but whenever she had to perform a more energetic routines like the quickstep or the jive, her performance always fell short. Jane & Tony may have been the obvious choice tonight but, next week it could be anybody again. This season is way too close.
