All this month, celebrity guest stars will be trying to win money for charity on FOX’s hit game show Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader? Tonight at 8/7c, the class gives Kellie Pickler some lessons. In case you don’t remember her, Kellie Pickler is one of American Idol’s favorite contestants. Although, her fan base may have more to do with her good looks than her singing ability. She was best known on the show for many of her ‘dumb-farmer’ statements. At the time people were trying to figure out whether it was an act or if she really was that dumb. I’m pretty sure by the time she left the American Idol stage, the jury was in. If you watch the preview clips from this episode on the FOX website, you’ll understand what I mean. She tells an engaged Jeff about the fish he keeps on his desk and then tells a little fish tale of her own.
Jeff Foxworthy is going to have his hands full on this show. Not only is there no chance that Kellie Pickler is smarter than a fifth grader she is kind of a red neck to boot. Foxworthy is going to have a field day. While we usually watch this show when we get a chance, this particular episode is one that I am going to make sure that I catch.

I think the remarks about Kelli Pickler being dumb is very rude and shallow. Well I think that she is a very good singer! I wish people would stop picking on her just because she was born on a farm!!!
