People magazine is reporting that Britney’s lawyer has come out and made the announcement we’ve all been waiting for:

Britney Spears is taking “security measures” to protect her children, her attorney says.

“Recent aggressive actions by individuals who have followed (Spears) and blocked her access, with and without the children, have resulted in her decision to take certain security measures which she hopes will only be necessary temporarily, for the protection of the children,” Sorrell Trope said in a statement Monday.

I can only assume this means she’s locked herself her in a cell somewhere and once the full moon passes she’ll be able to come back out. And by ‘once the full moon passes’ I mean ‘once the children turn 18 and are legally free from her.’
