Tonight we will find out who the three couples who will compete in next weeks finals. The performances last night were awesome. I would say that Marie & Jonathon were the only couple who really had a little trouble. Helio & Julianne and Mel & Maks could not have done any better. Two perfect routines a piece. Doesn’t get any better than that. Jennie & Derek obviousily also did well. The scores from last night are obviously close enough that anyone could end up going home tonight:

Mel & Maksim: 60
Jennie & Derek: 58
Marie & Jonathon: 56

While it is possible that Helio & Julianne or Mel & Maks could go home tonight I would say that it is unlikely. Possible, but unlikely. If the fans assumed that these couples were going to make it for sure and so used their votes to save one of the other two couples the Helio or Mel could be in trouble. Even though I believe that is what happened to Sabrina & Mark earlier in the season, I still think this is unlikely. That leasves us with either Jennie & Derek or Marie & Jonathon going home. Realistically it should be Marie & Jonathon. They have had the lowest score for the past two weeks from the judges. The problem for Jennie & Derek is that Marie has a huge fan following. So even if she is not the best performer I think Marie & Jonathon may squeek it out again and make it into the finals based solely on popularity. I hate to say it but I think Jennie & Derek have danced their last dance.
