We hope you’re having a great Thanksgiving. In case football isn’t your ideal way to spend the day (I’ll promise to try and not judge you) then here are a few alternatives:

NBC is going to be auctioning off props, costumes, and other material from some of its top shows, including Isaac’s fortune telling paintings from Heroes, Michael Scott high fashion from The Office, and the family crest of Prince Gerhardt von Hapsburg (Paul Reubens) from 30 Rock. The auction starts on the 19th, and ends on Dec. 3rd, and is hosted at www.nbc.com/auction. A portion of the proceeds go to the United Way and its partner organizations.

“Cool Tools” gives viewers an inside look at the latest innovations and coolest gadgets on the market today, and it’s hosted by comedian Chris Grundy. The show airs Thursdays at 9pm ET, with a special 2-hour premier this Thursday Nov. 22 starting at 8. The “Cool Tools” online content is really comprehensive, and includes video highlights, product specs, purchase details and — perfect for the holiday season — a “Cool Tools” gift guide. Check it out here: http://www.diynetwork.com/cooltools

Tin Man, which premieres on 12/2 at 9pm/8c has formed a partnership with Habitat for Humanity called ?Brick by Brick? through which they will fully fund a build project in Kansas. To do so, during the months of November and December at www.scifi.com/habitat people can by a $10, virtual, ?brick? towards the build. So, in the mini-series, an ordinary Kansas girl journeys beyond the yellow brick road to discover the meaning of home and, in real life, viewers can help families in need build their own homes.
