Tony Romo can put another notch on his belt following the rumor that Jessica Simpson took him home for Thanksgiving last week. I especially liked the way WENN breaks open the story with “Carrie Underwood’s ex-boyfriend Tony Romo” just to remind us how much better he is then the rest of us. It’s also funny that his press title is an ex-boyfriend of a singer rather than the QB for the 10-1 Cowboys.

Jessica Simpson fueled reports she’s dating Carrie Underwood’s ex-boyfriend Tony Romo by introducing him to her grandparents at Thanksgiving… Simpson recently announced that her ideal man is a guy she could take home to meet her grandparents. She explained, “I definitely love a family man, a guy that’s not afraid to pick up the babies. Somebody that wants to meet my grandparents immediately.”

Good thing she didn’t take him home to meet Papa Simpson or Romo would have left there with implants and a new nose.

So while that’s all good for Romo, let’s not forget his alleged previous attachment to the beautiful Britney Spears. That part raises some serious questions, because the timing of the whole thing makes a huge difference. Are we talking bald, pudgy, and umbrella wielding Spears or is that the school girl outfit, snake around her neck Spears? I think the important thing to focus on right now is figuring out how to best beg Underwood for another chance.
