Last week some lovely beach photos were snapped of Jennifer Love Hewitt with some very unflattering results. The next day we were informed by the Hewitt media spinners that she was engaged. Apparently that had happened weeks ago but seemed to be released as a distraction from the earlier mess. Then over the weekend Jennifer “Loves those cupcakes” Hewitt was so not bothered by the photos she put out a message on her website derailing the negative commentary saying how unfair it was:
“Like all women out there should, I love my body. I know what I look like, and so do my friends and family. I’ve sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women’s bodies are constantly scrutinized. To set the record straight, I’m not upset for me, but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image. A size 2 is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size 0 doesn’t make you beautiful. … To all girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini – put it on and stay strong.”
Well, to be fair, she was only silent because it’s really hard to talk with two Hot Pockets in your mouth at the same time. I’d like to take a moment and ask, in what measurement system is that a size 2? Does Lane Bryant have their own system?

What kind of mean-spirited garbage is this? Probably written by some flamboyant gay man that thinks that bashing women is acceptable/funny. Its not. Get over yourself! She is beautiful and maybe you should find something a bit more meaningful and intelligent to say.

Something more intelligent:
The Pythagorean Theorem states that if you let c be the length of the hypotenuse and a and b be the lengths of the other two sides, the theorem can be expressed as the equation: (a^2) plus (b^2) = c^2.
JLH is still full of it and not helping the issue of self-acceptance if she tries to say she’s a size 2. It has nothing to do with women as either sex can be a hypocrite.

I agree with her being full of it. She is trying to proclaim self acceptance by letting people know she is actually a size 2. What the hell is that saying to everyone else who happens to be in the double digits? I am actually glad her pics were posted because it just makes her come down to earth just a little bit.

I agree that JLH is very pretty and I have no problem with her physique. Just needs to be honest about things instead of sending the wrong message to other women that they need to lie and not be happy with how they are.
