Last week the teaser trailer for the upcoming Sex and the City movie was released and it looks just like what you’d expect (check out the clips below). I can only hope these are the last 45 seconds I ever witness from this movie, but the folks behind it are hoping everyone else feels otherwise. An insider on the set of the movie which just wrapped up has told The Daily Mail the producers are already looking at a follow up sequel and possibly even another extension in the franchise:

The producers are already working on a script for a second movie, they are so convinced the first will be a hit. They are exercising the sequel option in all of the stars’ contracts. They want it to be a franchise and think they can stretch it over at least three movies.

Oh good gravy. Three of these out there loose in the wild? So the big tease on this movie is whether or not Carrie marries Mr. Big, and yes I know that much but only because I’ve always enjoyed Chris Noth from his L&O days. Then if the story will continue in up to a full three movies I’d have to say that makes it sound like Carrie doesn’t take the plunge and get married. What do you think?
