Good news for Daniel Craig Bond fans, the franchise’s 22nd installment will begin filming later this week in the UK. Now I refused to see Casino Royale over their contract breaking behavior with Pierce Brosnan, but this 22nd film would be the first outside of that contract so I’ll be ready to return to the series. We already found out several months ago that Craig would be back for at least four more Bond movies, though we already know they don’t take the word “contract” very seriously anyways, so who knows.

This time around the director has changed and will be Marc Forester. Forester, director of the recent “Kite Runner”, admits that he’s never directed an action film. Gulp. Last time we had Martin Campbell who was also the director of the absurdly awesome “Golden Eye”. Remember how much Brosnan’s second Bond stunk in comparison to his first? That time they changed the directors as well. This isn’t to see Forester won’t be good, but he definitely has a high level of expectations set up for him and hopefully he can satisfy audiences.
