Julie Chen

Two weeks. Just two weeks. Big Brother 9 premieres in just two short weeks and it couldn’t feel like any longer of a wait. At this point we have a lot of information. So far we know the casting process has been completed following a rushed order of the new season. We’ve also gotten a look at the new “dirty little secret” theme courtesy of what is likely Big Brother’s hippest advertising campaign. So what’s next? Well thankfully Big Brother is about as reliable as a clock.

Roughly eight days before the start of the show it is rumored that we’ll get the casting revealed to us by Julie Chen on The Early Show. That would sync up perfectly with Season 8 when we got the news eight days before the season premiere. But even before that big news bomb we should get the usual house tour, providing even more insight to the theme. Speaking of that theme, I’ve been hearing some very interesting speculation on just how that “dirty little secret” angle could work its way into this season. Check out Reality TV Spoiler’s discussion on that for what seems like a very credible idea regarding borrowing from a French reality show.

Then, after all those reveals, the curtain will be pulled back on Tuesday, February 12th at 8pm for the big premiere. That same night Sho2 will launch the return of its “After Dark” Big Brother nightly special featuring uncensored, raw, and live footage from inside the house. Speaking of live, uncensored, and plenty of the ol’ nude houseguests you can always check out the online Big Brother 9 live feeds.
