One by one the final 50 American Idol contestants will be whittled down to the Top 24. Each contestant has to face Randy, Simon, and Paula by themselves across the room. The worst part is the judges always try to fake them out even if they are going to make it. I feel for the contestants who are sitting downstairs watching other contestants either taking a spot away or having their dreams crushed. It has to be agonizing sitting downstairs waiting your turn.
