Tonight on Big Brother 9 we get our very first live eviction of the season as well as HoH competition. But before we can get to the live stuff Julie takes us back to the huge fight in the backyard the other night. Amanda was talking more than she should have and was saying things that weren’t too based in reality. Eventually this broke down into a huge fight between Amanda, Chelsia, and Joshuah. It was ugly and nasty and if you really want to see the full video uncensored then check it out over here. The end of it was Amanda made some enemies, but Joshuah went too far with his comments towards her on hanging herself like her father. That wasn’t cool. For those who feel like Amanda is just getting beat up around the house you should know that Big Brother didn’t even touch the topic of Amanda claiming to the house that Alex was touching her in private areas while he thought she was asleep. That was refuted later in another huge house fight earlier this week. (See what you’re missing on the live feeds??)
Not to be outdone with the hatred is Jen. She realizes she’s in real danger and goes to Sheila and drops the bomb that her boyfriend is racist, or so she says. Later Sheila tells Ryan how his girlfriend is saying terrible things about him. This turns into a huge argument and explodes all over the house, of course. Jen denies she ever said Ryan was a racist, to which Big Brother gives us the flashback of Jen saying those exact words. Ohh I can’t wait to be rid of her! Jen and Ryan finally calm down in the spa room and Jen promises him she never said those things about him. So I wonder what happens when he gets out and watches the tapes. I get the feeling the only reason Jen & Ryan are still a couple after 10 months is that he just rolls over and takes tons of crap from her. While he should dump her over this I imagine he never will.
Heading upstairs to the HoH room we get a private chat between Julie and the HoH couple, Amanda & Alex. Amanda says she forgives everyone for what they said to her the other night. Alex comments on how the two of them will learn to work together despite their differences. He seems pretty committed to their coupling. It’ll be interesting to see if Amanda comes around on him or not.
Eviction Results:
It’s time for the vote reveal. Julie announces that by a vote of 3 - 1, Jen & Parker are evicted from the Big Brother 9 house. This doesn’t come as any surprise to me, though I thought at the very end that Matt & Natalie would go with the house and vote in favor of keeping Jen & Parker. Ah well, I was close.
HoH Competition:
Now on out to the backyard for the next HoH competition. It’s a quiz style competition and features the Big Brother usual of “don’t answer how you feel, but rather how you think the majority of the house feels.” There are six questions and each pose a risk that whatever the answer is that scenario will be implemented in the house. For example, the first question is “What would the majority of the house rather not have for the next 72 hours: hot food or hot water?” The majority answers “hot water” and so the house loses hot water for 72 hours. Yikes! After the six questions the next HoH is revealed as… Chelsia & James! Very exciting. I like them pretty well and will be interested in seeing who they nominate. I checked in on them on the live feeds just now and they talked about one couple already being decided as a nominee and another one definitely being safe. Wanna know? Then check out the live feeds!

Jen deserved evicting. She came into the house in a strong position and played the worst strategy ever.
I do feel bad for her bf. I hope he sees the real Jen.
When Jen and Parker were talking to Julie, did you noticed how spaced out Parker seemed when Jen was talking? It was actually funny.

She definitely deserved to be gone quickly for her poor behavior and game play.
Parker was totally vacant during that conversation. He had said while still in the house that if he got evicted he would refuse to talk to Julie. What a stand up guy!
