It would seem that Jason Bourne isn’t as smart as he is tough. Rumors are running wild that Matt Damon has tentatively agreed to return for yet another installment in the Bourne franchise as long as director Paul Greengrass, from #2 & #3, is attached. Greengrass had made a similar statement, saying he’d be interested if Damon would come back. Matt then made a little note during third period that said, “Will you make Bourne #4 with me? Circle ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.”

SlashFilm reports that Damon is already pretty booked up for the next few years with Steven Soderberg’s “The Informant” and another project from Clint Eastwood with “The Human Factor”. Greengrass has his own hands full with “They Marched Into Sunlight”. All of those projects combined could put filming years away for a fourth Bourne project so we won’t be likely to see it in this decade.
