American Idol Stage

For the first time this season of American Idol, the men and the women will take the stage together. Now that there are only 12 performers remaining they can squeeze all of the performances into a single night. America is going to have a tough time voting tonight because all 12 of these folks can really sing. American Idol will only be on twice this week. The results show will be Wednesday night on FOX at 9/8c.

I thought it was amazing to see, and appreciate, how difficult Lennon-McCartney are to sing. When you listen to Beatles you think “oh yeah… Beatles, lovely, melodic, occasionally noisy - but difficult to sing?… No….” but obviously it IS very difficult to sing and hats off to all for giving their best, and I suppose, specifically David Archuleta who had probably barely heard them! I’m sorry, who wouldn’t be, that David Hernandez is out. He had a good voice and was obviously a very nice person. I hope he goes far and good luck to all the rest - you are very courageous.
