Tonight on Big Brother 9 we’re all set for a volatile Power of Veto competition and ceremony. The couples have split and the anger is bubbling over on the live feeds. No one feels safe and for good reason. Tonight you’ll see a shaky alliance crumble with the back and forth exchanges you wouldn’t expect outside of Wimbledon.

From what I’ve seen so far on the live feeds Ryan has made for a pretty decent HoH. The power hasn’t gone to his head like we’ve seen in the past weeks and he’s been smart enough to use this position as leverage into forming new alliances. He’ll just need to watch himself from getting too deep too quick in his eagerness to make friends in a post-eviction-rebirth state.

Tonight’s Big Brother 9 PoV will obviously be crucial to Sharon and Chelsia, both of which were nominated last episode. Chelsia was put up as the pawn with Sharon being the real target, though CBS didn’t bother to share those details. That being the case it’ll really be Sharon’s do-or-die objective to get this one. Without revealing too much I will tell you that the PoV does end up being used and the replacement is none too happy. We may even get to watch the Evel Dick scenario play out with drinks, yes multiple, being poured on the head of a bystander to the whole mess.

I’m excited to see strategy finally wake up and join the HGs as they all seemed too focused on making love, not war this season. Mix all this activity with the surprise return of an evictee on Wednesday (well, it’ll be a surprise to the HGs) and this house should be ready to explode.
