Update: The eviction is over and the HGs are now competing in a live endurance comp. I’ll be recapping it here all night.
Big Brother 9 had a lot of surprises for us last week, so that’s a big standard to live up to two weeks in a row. There might not be the “big twist of the season”, but don’t worry though, we’ll still have all the excitement of the surprise return tonight.
I’m anxious to see who will be coming back and I’m willing to guess it’ll be Alex. I was rather torn on this and my prediction is by no means an indication of my preference, just what I think will happen. At first I really wanted Allison’s return just as an indirect slap against Joshuah for his behavior, but if she returned I think she’d be the first one back out. So out of everyone that has left so far I think Alex left on the best terms and as such he’d have the best chances of coming back to open arms. We’re talking about it over here in the forum if you’d like to put in your opinion too.

Now as far as the eviction that situation seems to be pretty locked down. James looks to be thoroughly screwed in this situation and he fully knows it. Over the past few nights he’s spent as much time with Chelsia talking about it. I hate to say he’s been whining, because I actually like the attitude and approach he’s taken in this game, but he’s come close. Sharon isn’t seen as a threat in this game and it shows as no one is bothering with this chance to evict her. I can’t say that I blame them either though have they already forgotten her shut out performance in the HoH competition just two weeks ago? I just hope we don’t see a unanimous vote again as that just shows that no one is willing to cross the line and potentially ruffle feathers.
Moving past the returning HG and the eviction of another we’ll have the HoH competition. Sheila won’t bother this week as she’s doing very well in her under-the-radar role and won’t risk it with a win unless it falls in her lap. Matt will need it desperately if he doesn’t want to risk nomination yet again. I thinking this one could be ripe for Chelsia to tear apart. She’ll likely watch her “soulmate” walk out the door and she’ll be motivated more than most. She’s already shown she can win it, so why not again? We’ll see soon enough though.

Big Brother 9 Live Eviction & HoH Episode Tonight on CBS, 8/7c | Big Brother 9 Net
March 12th, 2008 at 11:26 am[...] Last night at the PoV ceremony Chelsia used the veto forcing Ryan to nominate his briefly aligned friend, James. That means that tonight either James or Sharon will be leaving the house. From what we’ve seen on the feeds it looks like it’ll be James, so that’s what I’m predicting. [...]
