Neverland Ranch

Just one week before Michael Jackson’s famed Neverland Ranch was set to go up on public auction a private financer has stepped in and saved every child’s nightmare:

Jackson attorney L. Londell McMillan told The Associated Press on Thursday that the pop star has worked out a “confidential” agreement with Fortress Investment Group, LLC. The deal allows him to retain ownership of the famed property in Los Olivos, Calif.

“Neverland and MJ are fine,” McMillan said.

“Fortress Investment Group”? That sounds as scary as the things that go on at the ranch. I think we can all breath easier now though that we know both Neverland and MJ are fine. Apparently their fates were more entwined than I realized.

Ha, yes that name does sound foreboding. I wonder what the deal entailed.

I’d love to know the details of the deal too. It sounds like they paid for it and he kept it. They must be getting something good out of this or it just doesn’t make sense.
