BB9 Houseguests

Tonight on Big Brother 9 it’s time to see “Crazy” James bring some rule back to the BB house after his impressive win in last week’s HoH endurance competition that lasted for over four hours. If you missed out on the action you can see the play by play details over here. I’m sure Big Brother will treat us to the condensed version of the HoH competition, so that will be interesting to see what gets highlighted. Several keen-eared readers have pointed out that Julie said at the beginning of the comp that no squatting was allowed, yet you’ll see several of the players doing just that. I’m guessing there were some rule changes between the time the live show ended and the 15 minute gap before the feeds were turned back on.

Once we get through that it should be panic time for Ryan, Sheila, and Adam. James specifically called them out as his targets as he held on for the win. Surprisingly he agreed to not nominate Natalie or Matt if she would drop off. So if he’s good on his word those two should be in the clear. Revenge will be the motto for the nominations though and it shouldn’t surprise anyone. Ryan nominated James in lieu of putting up Matt as had been discussed. That only happened thanks to Sheila bending Ryan’s ear because she was mad at Chelsia for talking back to her. I’m not particularly sure why James would target “Baller” though other than being guilty by association with Sheila. Maybe James doesn’t respect Adam’s complete lack of competitive edge.

As far as the whole America’s Vote getting tossed to the side so James could return I’ve seen a petition getting passed around online, but I doubt that would really do much. Instead, next time BB offers up the America’s Vote I would highly recommend you boycott that. Since our time and opinions don’t mean too much to CBS I think we shouldn’t bother to share it with them again.

Things have moved pretty far along in the house since Wednesday’s episode. If you want to get ahead of the show and see what’s going on right now you can find the nomination spoilers and the power of veto spoilers at Big Brother 9 Net.
