No surprises with this weekend’s box office. Dr. Seuss’ “Horton Hears a Who!” mightily stomped through theaters earning nearly triple its closest competitor with over $45 million. Mix an animated adventure with a classic children’s author’s story and you’ve got a goldmine. The teen adventure “Never Back Down” did around what I would have expect with $8.6 million, nearly double that of the surprisingly heavily promoted in the last 2 weeks “Doomsday”. Nothing out there itching me to head to the theaters. Hopefully we’ll get something good soon.
