Update: Here’s our recap of tonight’s Top 11 performances.
Only 11 American Idol hopefuls remain. When the contestants take the stage tonight they will once again have the opportunity to perform songs from the Lennon-McCartney song book. Several of the performers really need to step it up this week. David Archuleta had his worst performance of the season last week. Kristy Lee Cook and Syesha Mercado were both in the bottom three.
Syesha should be able to come back now that she has her nerves under control. Kristy Lee Cook has a huge voice, all she has to do is find the right kind of country angle to put on her performances. Ramiele Malubay also had a highly mediocre performance last week so she needs to prove herself otherwise she could be in the bottom three this week. There is always the chance that one of the favorites could stumble but at this point it would have to be pretty bad for them to get voted off. Make sure you stop by after the show tonight. The recap and review tonight is being written by a guest author, let her and us know what you think!
