I don’t have kids, so I don’t really get this whole Hannah Montana thing like Walt does. Apparently Miley Cyrus, who plays Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel, has a whole slew of names just like her fictional character. Cyrus, who goes by Miley, was in the Los Angeles Superior Court this week to file a legal name change. Turns out her real name is Destiny Hope Cyrus, not Miley. So now she wants to become Miley Ray Cyrus.

The 15-year-old singer and TV star is the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, who filed the papers last Friday with wife Leticia. Her father writes in the filing that the request was “to make her commonly used name the same as her legal name.”

All she needs is to grow out the mullet and the transformation will be complete!
