Wow! Two posts on Bulgaria in as many days? Well it seems that Sylvester Stallone was as impressed with Bulgaria’s own American Idol as much as I was because rumors are indicating that he’s preparing to film the next Rambo film there. That’s right, the very same Rambo 5 that Stallone told us just two months ago would never happen. SlashFilm found the conflicting details:

Today on Screen Daily it was reported that Rambo 5 is scheduled to film in the Bulgarian capital of Sofia. Nu Boyana Studios, a substantive production house for Southeastern Europe, is building 10 new sound stages in the area, and apparently the next installment in the Sylvester Stallone war-vet franchise is booked first in line.

So yeah, Bulgaria, huh? John Rambo is becoming quite the globe-trotting hero these days. I was kinda hoping he’d decide to set his view towards a return to home and clean things up here in the ol’ U.S. of A. But I guess when killing comes as easy as it does to him he might want to avoid our whole legal system. Unless he decided to do his killing in L.A., because the police there are cool with celebrities doing their own thing. See, you can’t restrain the creative minds of those kinds of folks. They’re better than you and me, that’s what television has taught me.
