BB9 Houseguests

We pick right back up post nomination ceremony in the Big Brother 9 house. James says Adam just made him a bigger threat by nominating him. I don’t see how Adam could have done anything but nom James. Josh points out that he’s survived seven weeks of nominations and is the only remaining HG to not have been nominated. Wow, good for Joshuah.

Natalie reaffirms Adam’s decision while James dances around in the kitchen and says she’s not worried at all. Sheila doesn’t like their behavior and reminds us they’re just “kids”. She heads upstairs to complain about James and Chelsia. Chelsia correctly guesses that Sheila was upset for rejecting her hug. Hah. Adam closes the scene by reminding us that “if he [James] wins the PoV the house is @#$%”. That’s correct, kinda.

Joshuah tells Chelsia that if it comes down to James or her that she’d be safe. I’m not so sure about that. Joshuah would be better off to keep the bigger target in the house with him to continue deflecting the attention.

Chelsia goes back to talk to James and he asks her to throw the comp to him because he’s already been evicted once. “It’s only fair,” he says. Shocked Are you kidding dude? There’s no way I’d throw anything for anyone that wants to leave me in the dust.

Luxury Prize:
Since Ryan lost the Vegas trip the other day the other four players get to watch “21″ instead. But it gets better. They’re still going to give away the Vegas prize pack and it’s buried in one of the popcorn buckets. Chelsia finds it first and wins a trip to 2 to Vegas along with $5K to play with. That’s awesome! Sheila, Sharon, Joshuah, and Chelsia watch and love the movie.

Power of Veto:
Adam picks Joshuah
Chelsia picks Sheila
James picks Sharon

Joshuah picks up on the fact that the player selection happens at night instead of the morning of. Dun dun duh! I think Evel Dick is on his way tonight!

Sure enough! We get the drumsticks and in walks Evel Dick. He heads straight for the pans in the kitchen and heads off to find the HGs to wake them up for the PoV! Everyone is excited to see Dick in the house as it’s been a long time in the house.

Oddly when everyone gathers in the backyard it’s fully lit outside. What happened to the middle of the night thing? Dick explains that this will be just like last season’s comp where they have 10 drinks to stomach and for each drink they’ll get a swing on the croquet field. If they can beat his “record setting” (wasn’t that the first time we had that comp?) score they’ll win a very nice Les Paul guitar. If they can’t then ED will take the prize with him.

Getting to see the flashbacks of last season really makes me miss how much better that crew was. Okay, maybe it was just how good Evel Dick made the season. When Joshuah comes out he tells ED that people call him the gay version of ED. ED says that he heard Joshuah call himself that. Haha. Oh I miss Evel in this game. ED did a great job of encouraging and heckling the players.

Joshuah, Sharon, and Chelsia do a pitiful job and have no chance of winning in the croquet match. Sheila brings a strong game and impresses everyone with her top score of 22, the highest so far. Baller gets one more swing than Sheila with 8 attempts and scores 28 to be in the highest rank. Last up is James with the full 10 of 10 and he’ll have to beat 28 for the PoV and 33 to win the guitar.

Dick heckles James and says he hits like a girl. ED keeps reminding him that Veto is everything and that his life is on the line here. I think Evel is rooting for James here. James pulls it out in the end and gets 29 over Adam’s 28. Wow, Adam outplayed James on a swing for points basis, but all the same James still wins tonight’s PoV and ED gets to keep the guitar for himself. Awesome!

Chelsia now realizes she shouldn’t have brought James back. Hah. I think everyone that voted him back has now thought that.

Everyone is pretty panicked about James coming down and Adam needing to nominate someone else. Joshuah knows it will either be him or Sharon so he actually convinces Sharon to offer herself up to Adam. I can’t believe it but it works! Wow. Joshuah is a good manipulator! Adam, Ryan, Sheila, and Natalie discuss who is the best option to eliminate: Sharon, Joshuah, or Chelsia. Looks like they’re set on Chelsia needing to go this week.

Power of Veto Ceremony:
James says he needs to remind the house that if you nominate him he’ll come back and fight. He’s also not willing to get evicted for Chelsia again.

No surprise here, but James says he’ll use the PoV, forcing Adam to name another nominee. Wow. James turns to Chelsia during his speech and says, “Sorry Chelsia, you’ll probably be gone.” She tries to smile back at him.

Adam gets up and announces that he wants to keep his plan in motion and so he’ll nominate Sharon to make sure Chelsia is evicted on Wednesday.

Sharon says she’s protecting Joshuah since they started the game together and she wants to finish it together. Um, actually Sharon started the game with Jacob and then switched to Joshuah, but close enough I guess. Chelsia tells us that she was hurt by James statement about her going home this week because he’s safe and she’s not. I’ll agree with her, that was a jerk move to say something like that.

Either Chelsia or Sharon will go home on Wednesday during the live eviction. I think it’s safe to say from the house’s current mood that Chelsia is in her final moments of her Big Brother experience. What do you think? Will you miss Chelsia or are you excited to see her go? See what other fans of Big Brother 9 are saying in the forum.
