My brain needs a break from the reality overload of American Idol and Big Brother 9. Thankfully, NBC is nearly ready to return with their Thursday night comedies that I enjoy so much.

Okay, so my interest in My Name In Earl has waned since the first season, but when it comes back next Thursday (April 3rd) I might have to watch just to catch something scripted and new. My big excitement is saved for the return of The Office on April 10th and hopefully 30 Rock won’t be far behind that one either.

To get you ready for a return to comedy here’s a couple of clips to warm up on. First up is Jeffrey Zucker, NBC Universal’s CEO, with a recap and pep talk for the return of “Earl” next week. Next we’ve got a clip of Jenna Fischer and Angela from The Office. At first I thought that would be a little mini they did for the show, but it’s really just them hanging out in NYC talking about seeing people like Heidi Klum at a fashion show where Jenna actual did some catwalking. That was enough to keep me riveted.
