Time for another week of American Idol performances. I can’t say I’m really looking forward to tonight’s theme. This week the performers will be coached by Dolly Parton. Then they will sing her songs. Yeehaw? If you want to create a contemporary pop star having them sing songs from a 1970’s country singer really wouldn’t be my first choice.
Tonight’s episode is only an hour long (8-9PM ET)so they will have to move things along pretty quickly to squeeze in all 9 of the remaining contestants. Make sure you stop by afterwards. Maybe I will be so blown away by the performances that I will change my mind about the theme (or maybe not).
