Things pick right back up after Natalie’s nomination ceremony. James is frustrated that he’s being nominated week after week, but it shouldn’t come as any surprise after getting out Matt. Joshuah feels pretty good about things since he knows he’s not the real target. Natalie is excited at the idea of sending James off to see Chelsia and Matt in sequester.
Out back Sharon, Joshuah, and Ryan are talking about locking things down to make sure James is out. They know they just have to keep James from getting the PoV and he’ll be out of the house. Meanwhile, Sheila is in the spa room talking up James’ spirits about how he’s the strongest player in the house. Oh but guess what, Sheila feels nearly the same about James as she’s sitting in the kitchen telling Joshuah about how good of a player he is and how they have to go after James. James hears the whole thing and goes to confront Sheila in front of everyone.
She doesn’t learn her lesson because she heads right back to talk to Joshuah again about how they need to get James out of the house. Guess who walks in right behind her… James! Sigh. Sheila then heads out back and keeps up the smack talking with Ryan and Adam. Adam reports back to James on this so he heads out to talk to her (in his little black panties, oddly).
The sparks fly as these two confront. This stuff looks like it should be in the movies! It’s great! James is pissed off that she was two-faced to him about motivating him and then talking him down to others. They are furious! Now this is how you make some great Big Brother drama! James eventually heads back in and keeps it going by fighting with Natalie and Ryan.
James is upset with them because he says he doesn’t have anyone to play with and he’s always the target. Natalie and Ryan try to say they’re targets too. Yeah right. James keeps going at is angry that Chelsia was evicted. He directs this as Natalie who reminds him that she didn’t nominate her, Adam did. Adam hears his name and comes rushing into the room and lets loose too!
Adam starts yelling at James that yeah, he knows James is the target every week and yeah, it sucks, but everyone wants him gone. He keeps yelling at James for awhile and then heads back to his room. Wow!! This place is on fire tonight!!
All the fighting calms down as James leaves in tears. He says he really misses Chelsia. He’s also upset because he feels like there is no nice way to play Big Brother. He’s tried to do things right and yet everyone hates him for what he’s done. James says he hasn’t cried since the death of his father. He’s definitely crying tonight. It seems more like he’s just emotionally exhausted from being a target for weeks on end. No time to give up now, James!
Power of Veto Competition:
James says he’s getting into his mental warrior state so he can “win, win, win.” Natalie is excited because it doesn’t matter who plays, the whole house is against James. No kidding. The players tonight are: Natalie, James, Joshuah, Ryan, Sheila, and Sharon. Adam is the only one left so he’s the host.
Everyone heads out back and as Joshuah puts it, it’s the biggest collection of random objects he’s ever seen. James sees all the numbers and tells us he’s nervous. Tonight’s game is called “Big Brother Boardwalk”. HGs will answer questions about items in the yard with number guesses. Everyone will make a bet and then see what everyone else guessed. They can either fold or stay. If they fold they can’t get a point, but if they stay they can go for the point. If they stay and have the furthest guess from the right answer, they will be eliminated. First HG to 3 wins.
Question 1: How many letter blocks are in the big cage?
Natalie gets the closest answer. Joshuah & Sharon were tied for the worst answer, so they were both eliminated.
Question 2: How many push-pins were used in the veto symbol?
Ryan is the closest. Natalie loses. Dumb, dumb, dumb, Ryan. It was just Ryan and Natalie. Why didn’t he fold and give the point to Natalie?!
Question 3: How many pounds of lard are in the bath tub? Ugh.
Sheila is the only one who stays. She gets the point.
Question 4: How many balls in the gumball machine?
James is the only one who stays. He gets the point.
James: 1; Sheila: 1; Ryan: 1
Question 5: How many links are in the chain?
James is the only one to stay. He gets the point (2 total).
Question 6: How many pounds of popcorn are in both containers?
It comes down to James & Ryan! Both stay in… James wins!
James has won the Power of Veto, again.
Joshuah is upset as all get out. He knows that he just watched his funeral. Yep, he’s totally right. Joshuah is screwed. James isn’t so sad though as he dances around in the bedroom. It’s pretty funny. Oh wait, stop smiling because Joshuah needs to cry. After 7 weeks of safety he falls hard and fast to the eviction superhighway. He says no one will evict “Saint Sharon” over “Sinner Joshuah”. Sharon tries to comfort him, but he wants to be left alone. Yeah, that would suck.
Natalie and Ryan discuss their options and both agree that she has to nominate Sharon. She tells this to Sharon and she says she knows. Back to more tears from Sharon and Joshuah. He starts talking about how Sheila will need to take care of Sharon because he’ll be gone soon. You’d think this guy was dying! Sharon hides and cries in the bathroom while Joshuah does the same in the storage room.
*Pop* The idea comes up in Joshuah’s mind, “why does he have to go home instead of Sharon?” He heads upstairs and talks to Natalie who says she’ll break a tie in his favor if he gets two votes. Joshuah goes to James and Ryan. Both of them agree, and they’re smart to do that. All the meanwhile Sheila is talking to Sharon about how much Joshuah cares about her and will do anything for her. Hilarious!
Power of Veto Ceremony:
Here we are in a familiar situation. James gives a chance to Joshuah to talk. Joshuah says he knows that you have to win competitions to win this game and he hasn’t been doing that. As such, he doesn’t feel he deserves to have the PoV used on him. He tells James he has earned the PoV and to use it.
James gives a big motivational speech about how he wants everyone to start competing and challenge each other in the game. He goes on and on about it. This whole things totally reminds of me the “Saving Silverman” saying of “If you can dream it, you can do it.” James closes with using the Power of Veto. Natalie replaces James with Sharon, just as she said she would.
Wednesday will give us a live eviction where either Sharon or Joshuah will be evicted. Personally, I don’t think Natalie will keep her word to Joshuah even if he has the 2 votes. Too many people in this game have the habit of immediately agreeing to something and then not following through. I’m sticking with my guess that Joshuah will go home on Wednesday night.
