The Dancing With The Stars performances from last night were good, not great, but good. I went over my comments from last night and there were a lot of performances I liked but, with the exception of Kristi Yamaguchi, there wasn’t any performances that really stood out for me. Cristian & Cheryl or Marlee and Fabian would have been the only other couples whose performances may have bordered on great. This is good for Christian because I think he may be suffering from a lack of American fans.

Despite the judges’ scores, I thought Priscilla & Louis’ Tango was totally over rated. It was good but until I checked my notes I couldn’t even remember their performance this morning. If you watch American Idol, that is what Simon Cowell is always telling the contestants. They have to have memorable performances to get the fan votes and I don’t think that Priscilla and Louis had a memorable performance last night.

Adam & Julianne were the one couple that had a huge improvement last night (mostly because Julianne danced around Adam). I doubt Adam & Julianne will be going home this week. Adam is not doing himself any favors with his jokes though. I don’t think his type of humor is going to endear him to the DWTS fans.

In my opinion, a number of the couples actually slipped this week including improved including Mario & Karina, Jason & Edyta, and Steve & Anna. Marissa & Tony are probably in the biggest trouble tonight. Their Jive was completely uninspiring. The judges scored reflected that. I also doubt that Marissa has the fan base to make up for a really bad week. The judges seemed confident that she and Tony could do better but, I doubt they will have a chance. Here is how the Judges’ Leader Board stood at the end of last night’s performances:

My guess is that the bottom three for tonight will be Marissa & Tony, Steve & Anna, and Adam & Julianne. Marissa & Tony should be the couple going home this week.
