Uwe Boll has to be the worst director this side of Michael Bay and he knows it. Heck, everyone knows it. So why doesn’t he stop? Well some studio suits keep giving the guy millions to waste on film. There’s no way he’s making any profits back on these disasters. Boll’s last theatrical release, “In the Name of the King”, earned just $2 million in its debut weekend at #14 back in early January.
But now we may finally have the silver bullet we need to put this beast to rest. When FEARnet sat down to interview Boll they pointed out a petition roaming the interwebs aimed at getting him to stop. Boll wasn’t impressed with the 18,000 signatures the petition had (currently at 42,667 at time of publishing) and said it’d take 1,000,000 signatures to get him to stop.
FEARnet: Are you aware that there is a petition online, signed by 18,000 people, requesting that you stop making movies?
Boll: Yeah, I know that. 18,000 is not enough to convince me.
FEARnet: How many would it take?
Boll: One million. Now we have a new goal.
So right now we need close to 950,000 more to really drive the point. Will this really stop “Boll movements”? Nah, not him, but maybe it’ll open the eyes of the studios that fund this crap and get it out of the theaters and straight to Beta where it belongs.

Wow, it’s up to 54,000+ votes just a few hours later. I’m not going to lie to you and say it was because of Wild Bluff Media readers like you, but I think it’s obvious that it’s because of Wild Bluff Media readers like you.
