Here we are, at long last, standing on the brink of James’ eviction. I don’t necessarily say that with any pleasure as I sometimes share a similar view to others that James was this season’s true competitor. Fittingly, he’ll share the same fate of many of those who came before him as he’ll fall short of the Big Brother glory and its half million dollar prize. Could James survive the night? Anything is possible, but I’ve gotta say I simply don’t see it happening. The house is afraid of James and here sits there big chance to be done with him.

James has been built up as this season’s closest thing to BB8’s Evel Dick. He’s emotional, he’s tough, and damn it’s hard to get him evicted. When he returned to the house post eviction things were, as Chenbot likes to put it, turned upside down. He quickly claimed the house’s power for his own and made, what I believe to be, his fatal mistake. Turning on Matt and his agreement with Natalie posed him yet again as the “dark side” to the house. Whether what he did was wrong or right it made him an easy scape goat for everyone to point out and they’ve all taken advantage of it.

So tonight, when those three votes are cast by Natalie, Ryan, and Sheila I don’t expect Sharon to be sent on Julie’s couch and no, I don’t think there will be another siren alerting us to another pending dumb move by the house. James is done and on his way to sequester. There he’ll join Chelsia, Joshuah, and Matt for their own little bitter party.

Who will go next? Tough call. If the house aligns along the sexes then Ryan and Adam are screwed. If Natalie sticks with her boys another week it’ll be an even match with Sheila & Sharon fighting against Nat & Ryan for HoH. Get ready for one nasty conclusion to the Big Brother 9 season. We’re nearly down to the wire with just five HGs left after tonight which means we could be done in just three short weeks.
