Tonight on Big Brother 9 we’ll see the start of Sheila’s week as the new HoH.
The episode starts out with the HoH endurance competition. Everyone is excited about getting out Crazy James. Well, everyone but Sharon as she’s now alone. Speaking of Sharon, she lasted a full 8 minutes before dropping. She said she hurt her back last night. Um, doing what? Playing football? Weak.
Sheila starts in playing the mom card. I watched the live feeds of the competition and she played that card for a full three hours. It was obnoxious. Sheila then tells Ryan that he’s safe. She doesn’t mention anything like that to Natalie. Natalie tells Sheila that she doesn’t feel safe. They go back and forth bickering for awhile.
The competition keeps going between Ryan, Natalie, and Sheila. I’ve already written up the live recap of the endurance competition, so I’ll spare my fingers from doing it again. You can find time recaps and pictures here at Big Brother 9 Net.
So Sheila has the HoH given to her by Natalie and the infighting begins. Natalie immediately starts working to secure her safey. She tells Adam that they made a deal that will make him one of the nominees, but she’ll secure the PoV for his safety. Um, but that’d force Ryan to get nominated. They should instead try to be keeping the noms the same so Nat & Ryan can be the two votes and get rid of Sharon.

Sheila reveals to us that her real target this week is Natalie. She may have promised her she wouldn’t be nominated, but she didn’t say anything about being backdoored. Why does everyone in this game keep considering getting backdoored not getting nominated??

Everyone heads upstairs to see Sheila’s HoH room and all of her pictures. Adam is very impressed by Sheila’s glamor photo from when she was 25 years old. He says he wished that Sheila was in the house instead of “that thing”. Hah! Sheila gets two letters from home and cries through them. Everyone cheers for her.
Sheila has Sharon and Adam in the HoH room and discusses the nominations. They’re concerned about Natalie and her power with endurance competitions since they know they’ll have one with the final three in another week. Everyone seems to be aligned to get rid of Natalie. I wonder if she’ll have a dream to warn her about this one.
The group gathers to talk about what turns them on. Adam wants a pretty face. Sharon wants nice eyes and teeth. Adam again inserts that he likes dirty talk. Sheila says she wants a good looking bad boy. She really wants a mix between Dr. Will and Evil Dick. Sorry, Sheila, I’m already married!
Sheila pulls Ryan into the HoH room to discuss getting rid of Natalie. They agree that the F3 should be Adam, Ryan, and Sheila. Ryan says he’ll use the PoV to save Adam. Sheila then talks with Adam and assures him his safety.
Meanwhile, downstairs Natalie and Ryan talk about who to target next week. Nat believes it should be Sheila & Adam. Um, no kidding since if Sharon was evicted this week there would be just four people left.
Nominations:
Nat isn’t nervous. Sharon is definitely nervous as she’s the “last survivor of the evil-doers”. Adam isn’t happy about this deal that puts him up on the block. Sheila isn’t happy about the noms she has to make, but she thinks it’ll keep her safer longer.
There are just two keys in the block tonight. Sheila says this was the hardest thing she has had to do in this game. Sheila has nominated: Sharon and Adam. She says this wasn’t retribution for his nomination of her last week. She also wishes Sharon good luck in the PoV.
