Last week on Dancing With The Stars, Adam Carolla and Julianne Hough were finally sent home. While I like both of them, Adam could only pretend to dance for so long before the popularity of he and his partner could no longer overcome the deficiencies in their routines. The Judge’s Encore is becoming the kiss of death. Last week Adam & Julianne did their unicycle routine and were booted off and the week before it was Steve Gutenberg who also was sent packing. Its supposed to be an honor but, if I was competing I think I would just as soon pass on it this week. Tonight, the remaining 7 couples will perform either the Samba or the Rumba. We should see some pretty hot Latin routines tonight. Tune in tonight on ABC at 8/7c, to watch the performances.

Is there some reason the band cannot play latin music? Latin night had one song that had a latin rhythm and that was for the star that couldn’t hear it. Judges are continuously telling them that they miss the rhythm of the music or the beat….How about playing a Samba for a Samba and a Rhumba for a Rhumba.
You wouldn’t see a rhumba to “Jesus Christ,Superstar” in a real ballroom competition or try to waltz to a pop tune in 4/4 time(last season)…Who chooses this stuff ????
