Only seven idols remain. Tonight on American Idol, these seven will perform songs by Mariah Carey. These performances are going to be either totally amazing or completely awful. Mariah Carey’s voice and therefore her songs are so big that there isn’t going to be any room in between. The performers are either going to hit it tonight or they aren’t.
I think that Carly and David Archuleta will have a pretty good chance to pull off some of Mariah’s music. I’m really interested to see what David Cook does with it. He doesn’t have a huge voice but he always puts a really cool spin on the music he sings. Syesha is in big trouble tonight. She thinks she has a big voice. Syesha continually tries to sing songs that are way too big for her. With Mariah on the schedule tonight, you know Syesha is going to try to go big. Make sure you stop back later tonight and we’ll see if Syesha can pull it off.

i am so sick of you people putting syesha down no matter what she sing she always dose a wonderful job she not suppose to sing the song like the artist did it she’s suppose make it her on no matter what she sing or how well she sings it they want her gone because they want a pop or rock artist to win.

Hi, i enjoyed so much American Idol, sadly i have to wait a week to see what is goin on with the contest, because i live in Mexico City, no matter what i used to search in the net all the news i can get from my favorite program….so i am feeling so sad to see that Michel Jhons is out, being honest he was one of the best, hope my David Archuleta “papacito” nice and charming and wonderful boy and singer gets to the end….he is the 2008’s AMERICAN IDOL, if i could i will keep voteing for him all the time…..

David Cook doesn’t have a huge voice? Did you hear what he did with Billie Jean? How he held that one note for what seemed like ages, and then raised it even higher, all in one breathe? That was so huge it was the bomb! Carly tried holding a note the next week, and she was pitchy.

My problem with Syesha is not that I don’t like her style of music. I think her style of music isn’t necessarily right for her. She just doesn’t have the pipes that she thinks she does. She wishes she could sing like Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, or Celine Dion but the truth is she can’t.
