Things pick up in Big Brother 9 after Ryan’s nomination ceremony. Sheila isn’t satisfied with Ryan’s explanation (”Adam is all I had last week.”). Sharon doesn’t really care because she’s been nominated five weeks in a row now. Adam feels good for not being nominated, but is still going to fight for his life.
Sharon says she’s going to get Sheila off the block. (Now that doesn’t make any sense.) Sheila tells her to save herself. Ryan comes in and Sheila tells him he doesn’t understand, “the block just adds to my stress in this house.” Hah. No kidding. All you have to do is sit around and stress. That’s the game, Sheila.
Ryan wants to go to the Final 3 with Adam and Sharon because he feels safest with them. Adam tells the DR that he’ll do and say whatever it takes to keep moving forward. Ryan goes to Sharon and asks if she wants to partner up with Ryan and Adam. She is ready to go for it.
Sheila and Adam have a talk in the bathroom where she wants to make sure he’s got her back. She keeps pressing him that she needs to know that he’ll evict Sharon over her if/when it comes down to it. Adam swears to her he’ll keep her over Sharon.
Time for some fun. After losing the lux competition earlier Adam and Sheila have be to shackled to each other for 24 hours. Adam is having a great time abusing her with this arrangement. He’s yanking her arm around, changing in front of her, and just doing everything he can to make it uncomfortable for her. Funny stuff.
Sheila and Adam pair off, kinda have to, and talk about they have to stick together. Sheila says they are the most deserving of the cash. Ryan and Sharon have a similar conversation up in the HoH room. Hmm…
Power of Veto Competition:
The last 4 HGs head out back for the PoV comp. There are a series of clues they have to piece together to match faces with trivia about their stay in the Big Brother 9 house. Similar to what we’ve seen in past years.
Adam takes an early lead with Ryan not far behind. Not so surprising is how much trouble Sheila is having with this. Sharon isn’t doing much better.
Ryan pulls ahead in the end and wins the Power of Veto!
Ryan now has all the power this week and has to decide what to do. Ryan pulls Adam aside and says he has to know if his partnership with Sheila is still strong and something for him to worry about. Adam swears that he’ll get rid of Sheila right now to prove it.
Adam goes to Sharon and says that if she’ll swear to take him to the Final 2 he’ll keep her and send Sheila home. He puts out his hand to shake on it and Sharon doesn’t flinch. DUMB MOVE! Adam makes the decision this week and she doesn’t agree to a deal that would save her butt. Dumb, dumb, dumb. Adam pulls his hand back and tells her nevermind.
Sharon runs up and tells Ryan. Ryan now wonders if he should pull Sharon off the block and put up Adam. Adam goes up to Ryan’s room and totally denies all of that happening. He says he never made her any offers, that she’s lying. Adam says that he only asked her about her plans to for who she’d take to the F2. Hard to tell if he believes him or not.
Jumping to Chenbot and the living room. Julie points out that Sharon has set a record with her five straight nominations. Sharon is excited about this. I’m not sure that’s a good thing.
Power of Veto Ceremony:
Ryan says he will not use the PoV this week. The nominations stand.
Both Sharon and Sheila say that whatever happens will happen. Kinda stupid. Now it’s up to Adam to evict…
Sharon has been evicted from the Big Brother house.
Sharon takes it very well and doesn’t put up a fight. She heads out to Julie’s couch and talks about how her faith in God kept her calm. She says she was a threat for five weeks and was finally evicted. I’d disagree. She wasn’t a threat, she was just an easy nomination. Sheila’s going away video is weepy and shallow. I can’t stand Sheila’s crocodile tears.
Final HoH Competition Part 1:
Note: This is NOT live. They are acting like it is, but the competition was the other day and already over.
Tonight’s competition is called “Up A Creek”. The HGs must keep at least one hand on the rope at all time. The HGs are kneeling on boogie boards with watering rushing at them. The floor beneath them raises up at a steep angle and the water gets faster.
Too bad we don’t actually get to watch this. Not cool CBS. What do you think we get the feeds for?? Find out who won part 1 and part 2 over at Big Brother 9 Net
