Tonight on Big Brother 9 we’ll have the conclusion to the three part HoH competition and the final eviction, deciding which HGs will form the Final 2. Julie walks us through the flashbacks, reminding us of how Sharon was evicted. We’ll soon know the final 2!
HoH Comp Part 1 “Up a Creek” Replay:
We see all 3 of the HGs starting out on their boards. Sheila tell us it was like ice water. We see a slide view across all 3 of them and it’s pretty funny. This is an upper arm strength comp and there’s Ryan with huge arms, Adam with huge arms, and poor little Sheila. This was not a comp tailored for her.
Sheila tells the DR that she once nearly drowned, so she’s afraid of the water. Adam starts heckling Sheila. He tells her she was so close to being evicted. Sheila tells the DR that she can’t believe this guy that she hated at the beginning is the guy that now saved her. It’s actually impressive because they are the final couple remaining in the house. Good for them.
We jump back to Adam trying to decide how to vote: Sheila or Sharon. He realizes that he’d rather go against Sheila in a mental competition than Sharon who nearly won the last few mental comps. He’s got a good point. Adam talks with Ryan and explains why he thinks Sheila can’t win anything. He says she’ll drop because she’ll think Adam will keep him, then Adam can drop off and throw it to Ryan so he doesn’t have to evict Sheila himself.
Back to “Up a Creek”: Adam says there’s no chance that Sheila will win it. Neither of the guys are cold and Sheila is freezing. Adam and Ryan taunt her a little more. After just 36 minutes Sheila says she feels like she might have hypothermia. She says she can’t do it anymore and drops!
Adam and Ryan remain in the game. Ryan tells Adam to drop and he’ll evict Sheila. Adam says that’s fair since he evicted Sharon for him. Adam slides off and gives it to Ryan.
Ryan wins part 1 of the HoH competition!
HoH Competition Part 2: Giant Hamster Wheel
This one looks tough, not ideal for a 45 year old woman. The HGs have to roll a giant hamster wheel to release HoH balls from a maze attached to the wheel. Once they get the HoH ball out they have to place it in the right order. First to finish wins part 2.
Adam is having a hard time, but Sheila is struggling more. She says she is feeling dizzy and sick because she hates roller coasters. This isn’t anything like a roller coaster, but she’s got an excuse for everything! Nice use of redone Matrix music there, Big Brother. Sheila claims it was a “nightmare”.
Time reveals:
Sheila took 33mins 26seconds
Adam took 14mins 55seconds
Adam wins part 2 of the final HoH competition!
Back in the house Sheila starts working Adam. She tells him she’s depending on Adam to save her and take her on to the end. Sheila leaves and Ryan comes in. They get excited and jump around congratulating themselves. Adam has a slip up and says, “I can’t believe I’m going to win $500,000.” Ryan totally catches this and says it makes him nervous because, hey, it’s not over yet.
Julie takes us live to the living room. She asks Sheila how she feels about being at their mercy. Sheila says she feels helpless, but hopes someone wants to take her to the end.
Julie asks them to rank themselves 1-10 on winning it. Ryan says 3. Sheila says 4. Adam says he’d eek it out at 5. I think they’re all being modest. Next up is part 3!
Jury House:
Natalie tells us that she doesn’t hang out with Matt in the house. When she comes into a room she says he leaves. They bicker and fight. Despite all that Natalie says she doesn’t know how she feels about him. Um, are you kidding? Natalie tells Matt he wants him to be nice to her. I don’t think that’ll happen.
Sharon comes sneaking into the house. Matt explodes “Team Matty Victorious!” Who came up with that name?? They all watch Sharon’s eviction video and catch on that Adam and Ryan are working together. Sharon didn’t know Ryan was working with Adam until then and says Ryan’s biggest mistake in the game will be turning on her. I guess she’ll be voting for Adam in the end!
HoH Final Competition Part 3:
The set up is the same as each year. Trivia questions about the jury members where Ryan and Adam have to guess the correct answer.
Question 1: Matt wishes he was nicer to… Natalie.
Both get it right.
Question 2: Chelsia thinks she’ll most likely hear at home about… giving up money for a showmance.
Neither get it right.
Question 3: Joshuah thinks the most deserving HG is… Joshuah.
Ryan gets it right.
Question 4: James thinks he and Chelsia will… sink.
Both get it right.
Ryan leads by 1.
Question 5: Natalie thinks the best showmance this season was… James & Chelsia.
Neither get it right.
Final Question 6: Sharon says the biggest lie she told was… that my back caused me to fall.
Neither get it right.
Ryan wins the final HoH!
Final Eviction of the Season:
Ryan is about to make the final eviction, either Adam or Sheila. Adam says they’ve worked together all season and hopes he does the right thing. Sheila cries and says she’d be so grateful if Ryan would take her.
Ryan says he is going to evict: Sheila
Sheila is the final evictee of Big Brother 9. She gasps and and runs to get her bag. Adam and Ryan give her a big hug and she walks out as she gasps for breath.
Out on Julie’s couch Sheila says she really thought Adam would win part 3 and then take her to the end. She thought she played a really good game. I don’t. Julie rubs it in a little that Sheila walked out without winning any money. Sheila praises herself for sticking through the hard times in the house. She feels devastated that she didn’t win. Julie is very calm and nice to Sheila, but then she rubs it in that Sheila is 46! Hah, lots of backhanded compliments here.
The going away messages are very nice. Ryan says he’s got a lot of respect for how tough she was in the house. Adam says he misses her already. Adam says he doesn’t know how either of them got so far, but they did something right. Sheila says she’ll be lifetime friends with Adam.
Looks like Sheila will be voting for Ryan along with Sharon! That’s 2-0 in Adam’s favor so far. He’ll just need 2 more to steal this away.
Back in the living room Julie talks with the guys. They joke about they are the new soulmate couple, though they won’t confirm it. They go on to say they’ll be BFF, best friends for life. Now it’s just the two of these guys wandering around the house. Boy, that’ll make for some exciting live feeds over the next three days!
Big Brother 9’s Finale will be Sunday @ 8/7c when we’ll see the jury members crown this year’s winner of $500,000!

I have been a big fan of BB and have watched ALL 9 season. I bet it must be tough to play this game being stuck in the house for such a long period of time, and hearing a lot of “lies” -you don’t know who to believe. Us (the tv viewers) get to see all sides of people and we can get a little better understanding on why they act or say the things they do. BUT others play it HONEST and therefore i hope RYAN wins the GRAND PRIZE! Good Luck RY!
