Do you find yourself laying awake at night, concerned that you’ll never survive the wait for the Iron Man release on May 2nd? Well worry no more, because Paramount Pictures has decided to push out Tony Stark and his shiny red and orange suit to your nearest theater a day early, May 1st.

You’ll still have to wait until the evening when the Iron Man screenings start at 8pm, but at least that better than a midnight release. My bed time is like 6pm, so I’m screwed either way, but you, you go and see it. Don’t wait on my behalf. Go and enjoy it. Lucky…

Update: If you live in the San Fransisco area, then even luckier you because TechCrunch is running a near-free ($1) screening of Iron Man this Wednesday night.
