Well. Seems Britney Spears has taken her favorably-approved cameo last month on “How I Met Your Mother” to heart. Or, at least to her mixmaster of a brain. Earlier in the week we reported that she may do it again. Britney’s cameo showed off some comedic chops, but the conditions on set during her drop-in were EXTREMELY rigid. Everyone was basically ordered to walk on eggshells, not ask questions or engage Britney off-camera.

HIMYM star Neil Patrick Harris, our fave former medical prodigy, was not amused. He chafed under the “Britney Spears Secret Service and Assisted Living” personnel and their takeover of shooting norms on his show. Doogie took no time in blasting his feelings to the media.

It seems the show’s producers would like Britney back, however, and are negotiating to make it happen. Oops, small problem. Britney (or whichever personality was on duty that day) wants script approval before agreeing to another cameo! Bawhahahahaha! I am sure the writers are considering another strike.

Taking orders from Britney on scriptwriting would be like me doing brain surgery blindfolded. Except I wouldn’t be eating Cheetos at the time.

The setbuilders are probably terrified as well- who knows what Britney might start wailing on with her umbrella if the scary-faced personality pops out. Ya know, that button could get pushed at any time, but no one can figure out what pushes it! A round of little purple ulcer-calming pills for the staff, STAT!!!

Neil Patrick Harris hasn’t chimed in on this latest news as far as I can tell. He’s afraid of Britney. Don’t diss Doogie’s common sense- remember he’s a genius! Most likely a highly pissed one for having to put up with the bi-polar opposite of himself. Don’t look at the Britney, y’all! Whichever one it is!
