It seems the production of The Hobbit and its sequel is moving forward again. Executive producer Peter Jackson has signed Guillermo del Toro of Pan’s Labyrinth fame to direct the two films. del Toro will live in New Zealand for the next four years as the two movies are filmed concurrently as Jackson did with the three Lord of the Rings films. The Lord of the Rings Trilogy were some of the my favorite movies of all time. I’m dying for the Hobbit to come out. So I’m glad to hear the the movies are back on track. Guillermo del Toro is a brilliant director so The Hobbit films should be of the same caliber. It just stinks that were going to have to wait 4 years. I guess, I would rather they were done well than fast.
