Tonight we’ll learn who wins the $500,000 for Big Brother 9! Everyone is up and cheering as Chenbot awkwardly tries to high five around the crowd. Aww, Chenbot just wants to be human and feel emotions! Now we’re getting a flashback of the season. We watch a week by week breakdown of how we ended up at this Final Two.
Big announcement: the audience (that’s you!) can vote online to determine which jury member gets $25,000. Hmm, could this be a chance for James to win some money?? Screw CBS though after they fouled us on the America’s Player, so you’ll have to find that link on your own.
Jury Discussion:
Everyone sits around trying to figure out who will be the last evictee. Natalie is upset with Ryan for lying to her. Joshuah says Adam and Sheila didn’t have a backbone, they just voted how the house was leaning. He goes on smack talking Sheila just as she walks in.
Sheila blames Adam for her eviction in the final HoH competition, saying he dropped the ball. Hmm, that’s weird because I don’t remember Sheila winning any part of that 3-parter. Seems to me like she “dropped the ball.” Sheila says she won’t vote bitter.
Matt says he’ll vote based on who played the game the best. He thinks Adam was playing smarter.
Joshuah says Adam is coasting, but Ryan is winning them.
Sheila says Adam is a weak player for throwing competitions, but Natalie counters that apparently is was good enough to get him to the end. Sheila thinks Adam did too much back stabbing rather than doing it to their face. She is very bitter about Adam not carrying her to the end.
Joshuah keeps arguing in favor of Ryan. James agrees. Matt steps in and backs it up as well. Joshuah, Master of the Obvious, states that he thinks what Adam & Ryan say during the jury Q&A will influence how they’ll vote. Duh.
Jury Q&A:
Matt goes first and asks Adam what he’d do w/ $500,000. Adam says he’ll start up programs for kids, because that’s why he’s on the show. Same question goes to Ryan. Ryan says he’d put some towards helping his mom, then get something nice for him and Jen, and then some to charity as well.
Sharon rails Ryan about the look he gave Adam after she was evicted. Ryan back peddles heavily, heavily! He says that it wasn’t true at all and that he fought all week for her to stay. Adam doesn’t say a word.
Chelsia asks why she should give Ryan the money when part of it goes to Jen who called him out as a racist. Ryan says he’s not a racist and still loves his girlfriend. Chelsia says, “wrong answer.” I don’t think there was an answer that she would have liked anyway.
Joshuah is up and asks Adam why he should get the money when he thinks Ryan outplayed him. Adam says he didn’t throw any competitions but part 1 of the final comp. Sheila is shaking her head. Joshuah chastises Adam and tells him not to yell at the screen, to respect the screen. Um, you mean respect the people talking through the screen or literally the screen? Joshuah is taking his last chance at a power trip here.
James is supportive of their game play. He asks Adam what makes him a better player than Ryan and why should he be in the F2 over Sheila. Adam says he walked in with a great disadvantage with Sheila’s negativity and turned it around. He says he carried Sheila a long way in the game.
Natalie asks why she didn’t get taken to the F3? Joshuah cuts and mocks Natalie’s question. Adam says he just did what the HoH wanted him to do. Ryan has to answer why he voted her out. He says he did want to go to the end with her, but was worried that she’d make it hard in the end to win.
Sheila asks Adam why he lied to her that he’d take her to the F2. Hmm, I don’t think it was Adam’s choice, it was Ryan’s. She also says she carried Adam, not the other way around. Adam assures her he did not throw the final competition. He reminds her that he got her to the F3 and that’s not bad at all. Adam is flustered. Sheila says Adam did not carry her. Hah! Yes he did.
Final Two Pleading:
Ryan says that he never trashed anyone in this game, it wasn’t how he played it. He also isn’t going to talk against Adam here because, again, that’s now how he does it. Ryan asks them to vote for him, but will respect them even if they don’t.
Adam reminds them of 3 things to consider: relationship in the house, game play, and what he’d do with the money. He says he covered all three bases here. He was friends with everyone and was real with everyone that he talked to. Adam believes he played a well balanced game of physical and mental.
The questioning ends with a lot of upset faces. Joshuah is doing his little “I’m so sassy. Look at my head swaying.” Chelsia does her pointing and face scrunching while she complains about Adam’s attitude.
Jury Arrives On-Stage for Live Voting:
Time for the jurors to step up and insert their key for the person they want to see win the half million dollars.
Matt comes up and says they did a great job, but the winner will be taking him to Vegas after this is over.
Natalie is up and says she loves them even though they’re suckers for not taking her. She is going to vote with her gut.
Joshuah gets up there and says he’s voting for the guy with a backbone (I think that means Ryan, right?).
Sharon says she’ll vote based on who was most loyal in the game (Adam then, right?)
Sheila says this is a very easy decision to make after the Q&A, but hopes loyalty and honesty had something to do with the game.
James is up and says he hopes they party away this money. That’s all he’s going to say.
Chelsia votes last and says that the winner better honor what he said at the Q&A.
Up next: first six evictees return to reveal their perspective on the remaining HGs.
Julie starts with the jury questioning. She asks Natalie if she was playing all sides or if her loyalties were with the boys. Natalie says, “both.” Julie asks Matt if he wants to say anything to Natalie before he she sees the tapes. Matt apologizes to her.
Next up is the beef between Allison and Jen. Jen says she still doesn’t like Allison for trying to get between her and her boyfriend. Allison says she has no hard feelings toward either of them, but thinks Jen’s actions of sabotaging her boyfriend weren’t very loving. I’d have to agree.
Julie calls Ryan into the conversation, but for another topic. She plays the video of Adam whispering to Natalie, “I voted for you.” Adam just shrugs his shoulders and says, “he knew.” It’s pretty funny.
Now the joke is on Adam as we see the clip of JoshuaH doing his faking crying over the pizza. Adam doesn’t quite remember the situation, but gets the joke.
Julie tells the jury members that there will be a $25,000 prize for one of them. We’ll find out after the big winner is revealed.
