Miley Cyrus, better known as Hannah Montana, is working hard to alienate all those little Disney fans of hers with another release of inappropriate photos. The first time around there were seductive bikini photos of Cyrus which quietly slipped by for the most part. This time things aren’t going so well.

Last week new “personal” photos of Miley Cyrus showed up on the interwebs picturing Cyrus draped across a boy while down to pants and what looks like a bra (I worry that might pass for a young girl’s top these days) along with another one of her pulling down her shirt to reveal her bra. Apparently Miley Cyrus wasn’t satisfied with keeping things low key and at home, because now she’s scaled it up with a topless photo shoot for Vanity Fair. That’s right, this 15 year old had a topless photo shoot for an internationally circulated magazine. Smart! Of course Cyrus is backpedaling as fast she can with this apology release to PEOPLE:

The singer, 15, tells PEOPLE: “My goal in my music and my acting is always to make people happy. For Vanity Fair, I was so honored and thrilled to work with Annie [Leibovitz]. I took part in a photo shoot that was supposed to be ‘artistic’ and now, seeing the photographs and reading the story, I feel so embarrassed.”

Vanity Fair shot back that Miley’s parents were on the photo set and that the photos were all digital so everyone saw exactly what was being shot, there were no surprises here. Sounds to me like she’s got some greedy parents that are more interested in making a buck than making a good decision.
