The Dancing With The Stars couples each performed two routines last night, a ballroom and a Latin dance. Their scores for the two routines were combined. Here is how the Judges Leader Board looked after the results were tallied:

Kristi & Mark: 54
Marissa & Tony: 52
Shannon & Derek: 51
Mario & Karina: 51
Cristian & Cheryl: 46
Jason & Edyta finally knocked Kristi & Mark out of the top spot. I will agree that last night was not one of Kristi’s best and JT was on fire. Marissa & Tony will be safe. They have middle of the pack judges scores and a big fan base. Cristian & Cheryl should definitely be the couple going home tonight. However, Cristian may get some sympathy votes because he was injured last night (I know he pulled a muscle, big deal, but there will be some people out there that will feel bad for him).
If Cristian some how manages to dodge the bullet, that would leave two couples in the hot seat: Shannon & Derek and Mario & Karina. Each of these couples had one really awesome performance last night and one lackluster one. Of the two I think that Mario & Karina will pull more of the popular vote. I’m sure that some folks were turned off by their rant last week on the ABC.com interviews. The little romance developing between them might also turn some off as well especially as last I heard Shannon was still engaged. (Although I did notice she wasn’t wearing a rock on her finger last night. Anyone see if she had one in the earlier weeks?) While I like Shannon & Derek they are once again my prediction for the couple going home tonight.
In addition to tonight’s elimination, Def Leppard performs Pour Some Sugar on Me and Nine Lives.

there is no way that Cristian can have a ruptured anything in his arm and put off surgery. You are in pain just to breath, so you would have to be on major pain pills which is a strong dope, and to practice to compete you would die with pain just to walk alone…this is a bunch of …….publicity to get votes!
