Amy Winehouse is receiving MORE fallout from her crazy, drug-fueled, headbutt assault-committing “bender” the other night. Amy had been in the studio with her ace producer Mark Ronson working on a song for the new James Bond movie “Quantum of Solace”. Stories had circulated that they were both hoping to have Amy’s song chosen as the theme song for the movie, but that it wasn’t a done deal.

Now, it looks like the song and the 007 project ARE done as far as Amy’s concerned. Ronson has apparently killed the project, citing Amy’s serious current condition. He told Sky News that:

“We tried to work for a little bit. I’m not sure she’s ready to work on music yet,” he said.
Asked if the Quantum of Solace track will be made he added: “I don’t think so unless by some miracle of science it gets recorded and someone sings a vocal on it so probably not. We did work on it but we never finished it so that’s about it.”

Asked if the pair are due to work on other projects he replied: “No, we tried to work for a little bit. I’m not sure she’s ready to work on music yet”.

Ronson blasted Winehouse on British TV after a four-letter smackdown between the two. “She’s not ready to record music” Ronson declared. Amy’s camp has sniped back calling Ronson’s work on the song “rubbish”, and complaining that the turn of events is not helpful to Amy.

Amy NEEDS some freakin’ Quantum of Solace! In a HOSPITAL! Mark Ronson was the mastermind behind Amy’s smash, Grammy-laden “Back to Black” and he knows Miss Amy very well. If he says she’s not ready to work on music, which is all Amy DOES when she’s not sucking up drugs, Amy is REALLY in trouble. He’s getting the hell out of the way, and cutting his losses. What do they call a 5150 (Britney) psych hold in Great Britain? If I were Amy’s dad, I’d be calling Jamie Spears right now. Jamie knows how to get that crazy under control!
