The four remaining American Idol 2008 finalists take to the stage again tonight. Based solely on previous weeks I would say that it was Syesha Mercado and Jason Castro who really need to bring some awesome performances tonight. The Davids (Archuleta and Cook) are the current favorites to win the whole thing. The two Davids need to make sure they have solid performances so as not to leave a gap for Syesha and Jason to slide into. They need to make Syesha and Jason work to stay in the competition. Jason in particular has had mediocre performances the past two weeks. The judges (even Paula!) have commented on it. Of the four, despite his popularity with the fans, Jason is one idol on the hot seat tonight. They better be good performances or he may done this week.
