Last night on Dancing With The Stars, I thought the judges (Len in particular) were a bit hard on the couples. They each performed a ballroom and a Latin routine. Needless to say, there were no perfect scores last night. This is how the Judges Leader Board looked at the end of the night:
Judges Leader Board
Cristian & Cheryl: 57
Kristi & Mark: 55
Mario & Karina: 53
Jason & Edyta: 52
Marissa & Tony: 50
I was not surprised that Kristi & Mark did not capture the top spot again. What did surprise me was the couple who beat them out for it. Cristian & Cheryl had an awesome night last night. I thought for sure that with Cristian’s injured arm that they wouldn’t have a chance. Guess I was wrong. They had what were probably their two best performances last night. As a result I think both Kristi & Mark and Cristian & Cheryl will be safe tonight.
Despite Jason & Edyta’s low score from the judges, I am still going to have to call Mario & Karina and Marissa & Tony the bottom two couples on tonight’s results show. Marissa has been a fan favorite but I cannot imagine how they are going to over come that score. Mario & Karina will probably be the other couple in the bottom two. It isn’t that I believe that Mario & Karina are bad so much as I think the other couples are better. Jason & Edyta had a bad night. Actually, they had one bad performance. Their Tango was awesome. Their Samba, not so much. Bruno went so far as to call it a Turkey. Hopefully the fans will keep them for another week. They deserve to stay.
Don’t forget, tonight is Dancing With The Stars 100th episode. To celebrate the DWTS judges will be hosting a special before the results show at 8/7c during which they will recap the best performances form all six seasons. Then during the results show, Rascal Flats will perform and a number of DWTS alumni will return to the ballroom to perform for your viewing pleasure.
