US Weekly has reported that former Bachelor star Navy Lt. Andy Baldwin (a.k.a, Lt. McDreamy) and his girlfriend Marla Maples have decided to part company.

Baldwin recently moved to take an assignment as an advocate for Navy Medicine in the Washington D.C. area. Baldwin 31, and the Donald’s-ex, 44, began seeing each other last year.

The long distance relationship caused by Baldwin’s move to the East Coast apparently put too much of a strain on their relationship. Their split seems to be very amicable, both stating that they are still friends.
