Get ready for season two of the return of the 90’s hit, American Gladiators. I got a real kick out of watching this earlier in the year as a WGA strike filler so I was glad to see it’d be returning for another round. Most of the big things won’t have changed too much. The hosts, Hulk Hogan and Laila Ali, will be back along with all the Gladiators.

What will have changed though is the addition of a few new challenges and even a new Gladiator, “Rocket”. Rocket, whose real name is Evan Dollard, was last season’s male winner who accepted the prize of coming back to be a Gladiator rather than just a contender. Definitely a cool idea, but watch the video below to see that he’s not nearly as big as guys like Wolf. I’ll be interested to see if he can hold his own as I’m guessing there will be more than a few contenders who are bigger than him.

Also, check out the video for one of the new challenges, Vertigo. There’s no way I could handle that challenge, but that’s okay, they already turned me away from the show because they said I was too big and too powerful, probably too handsome as well.
