Reaper fans can rejoice. The CW announced today that the comedy series Reaper, which was caught in TV purgatory, had finally been approved for a renewal into the 2008-2009 TV schedule. While fans should be pleased this should also stand out as a call to action because instead of a full renewal the network has ordered a partial season of 13 episodes as a mid-season replacement.

Get in the Reaper spirit and catch tonight’s episode, 1.17 “The Leak”:

After Sam (Bret Harrison) turns in a soul named Mike (guest star Richard Burgi), who somehow keep returning to Earth, the Devil (Ray Wise) tells him there is a leak in Hell and he better find out who is responsible.

Sam, Sock (Tyler Labine) and Ben (Rick Gonzalez) discover Gladys (guest star Christine Willes) is helping Mike escape and aren’t sure whether to turn their friend over to a very angry Devil.
