As production of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince winds down producers are already gearing up for the Deathly Hallows films. Thats right, I said filmS. In case you haven’t heard, it was decided to split the final Harry Potter book in to two films. While producers claim that this is for artistic rather than financial reasons, no one wants to see their cash cow die.

In any case, production the two Deathly Hallows movies is set to begin this fall in the Scottish Highlands. The movies will be filmed simultaneously. Actually filming is not set to begin until early 2009. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part One is scheduled to be released November 19, 2010, with part two due out in May 2011.
