Finally, after 10 weeks, the Dancing With The Stars Performance Finale. Tonight, each of the three couples performed two routines. First, all three participated in a Cha Cha Face-Off. They all danced to the same music one after the other and then finish together. Then the couples will compete individually in the Free Style Round. This is a no holds barred routine where anything goes. Kristi & Mark have been the favorites all season long and they did not disappoint. Cristian & Cheryl and Jason & Edyta’s performances were so close that they are totally dependent on the fan vote. After being on the show all six seasons this is Edytas first time in the finals.

Dance: Cha Cha
Awesome. I seemed to notice Marks arm much more on this routine than I have in past weeks. Len thought Cristian’s hip action was great. Bruno complimented the couple on how much they have improved since week one. Carrie Ann liked it but thought Cristian had trouble with his posture due to his injury

I thought Jason seemed to be doing more tricks and fewer Cha Cha steps. Len said Jason performed the routine with elegance and style. Bruno thought they did well but were a little off on their timing.

Kristi Yamaguchi & Mark Ballas

They were the best. Kristi really let it all hang out especially when she kissed Bruno. I thought not only were they technically brilliant but Kristi did a better job with this performance than at any other one all season long. Len you had the complete package. Bruno thought Kristi was the one to beat. Carrie Ann said that it is ladies night you won that hands down.

Kristi & Mark’s Freestyle routine was a sort of a cross between ballroom and hip-hop. I personally thought it was a little too over the top. Kristi also seemed to be tiring out. That being said it was still a brilliant performance. Bruno said you did not miss a beat, worthy of the championship. Carrie Ann loved it. Len doesn’t really care for hip hop but he thought it was brilliant. He absolutely loved it.

Jason & Edyta;s performance was pretty hot. They seemed to be a little out of sync at times though. When I saw this routine my first thought was Len is going to hate this. The audience went nuts for their routine. Carrie Ann thought it was fantastic. Len actually liked it. Bruno thought it was nice and funky.

Cristian and Cheryl’s free style was not only awesome, it was really sexy too. That was a hot routine. I liked the Latin flare. It fit with Cristian really well. Len loved the Latin flavor, but he didn’t think their lifts were quite up to the same level as the other two couples because Cristian only had one arm. Bruno thought for one arm he did really well. Carrie Ann didn’t think they did quite as well as Kristi but, she acknowledged that they laid it all on the line.
